With 85 member organizations representing two-thirds of the world’s population, it empowers young people and fuels economic growth.
The 48th WorldSkills competition will take place in
Shanghai, China, in 2026,showcasing talent and innovation worldwide.

What is India Skills?

IndiaSkills is the nation’s largest skill competition, showcasing exceptional talent and promoting the highest standards of skilling.
It provides a platform for young people to compete at national and international levels.
Held every two years with support from state governments and industry, the next IndiaSkills Competition is scheduled to take place in 2026.

A Festival of Skills and Opportunities

To identify deserving candidates for the WorldSkills competition 2025, the Tamil Nadu Skill Development Corporation is organizing the TN Skills 2025, under its Naan Mudhalvan banner.
TN Skills 2025 will organize district-level and state-level skill competitions and the winners from these will be trained intensively and supported to participate in the regional-level and national-level India Skills competition.
The winners of the India Skills competition will be selected to represent the country at the World Skills 2026 competition.
