WorldSkills is the global hub for skills excellence and
development. WorldSkills brings youth, industries, and educators
together to give youth everywhere a chance to compete,
experience, and learn how to become the best in their skill of
choice. WorldSkills has built a movement that is changing the
lives of young people through skills. Their 85-member
organisations reach two-thirds of the world’s population and
create measurable impact at every level. They build the
confidence of millions of young people, empowering communities
and fueling economies.
The next edition of the WorldSkills competition is set to
take place in Lyon, France in 2024.
IndiaSkills is the country's biggest skill competition and is
designed to demonstrate the highest standards of skilling in the
nation. It offers a platform for young people to showcase their
talent at national and international levels. IndiaSkills
Competition is held every two years with the support of state
governments and industry.
The next IndiaSkills Competition will be held in September
2023.
To identify deserving candidates for the WorldSkills competition
2024, the Tamil Nadu Skill Development Corporation is organizing
the TN Skills 2023, under its Naan Mudhalvan banner. TN Skills
2023 will organize district-level and state-level skill
competitions and the winners from these will be trained
intensively and supported to participate in the regional-level and
national-level India Skills competition.
The winners of the India Skills competition will be selected to
represent the country at the World Skills 2024
competition.

Participants can take part in TN Skills through a registration process.
Institution has to conduct an institutional-level competition by
following the institutional-level competition Guidelines of
TNSDC.
Based on the results they have to nominate candidates to the district-level competitions.
Individual participants can register by themselves directly on
our portal.
Qualifying individuals will be selected to participate in a
district-level competition.
Industries can register an eligible candidate with the details
on their behalf on our portal.
Industries have to select the candidate by conducting the
competition.
