Job Description: Manufacturing Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Technician to join our team. This role involves a combination of hands-on technical skills and on-site work. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

  • Welding and Fabrication: Perform welding tasks (Arc, TIG, MIG) according to engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Quality Control: Maintain strict adherence to quality standards by conducting inspections and maintaining relevant records.
  • Site Installation and Maintenance: Travel to various sites to install and maintain equipment.
  • Vendor Management: Visit vendor sites to conduct quality checks, fitment checks, and procure necessary parts.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain detailed and accurate inventory and quality control records.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel extensively for site visits, vendor inspections, and part procurement.
  • Shift Work: Flexibility to work in different shifts as per operational requirements.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or ITI in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum 2-4 years of experience in welding (Arc, TIG, MIG).
  • Strong understanding of engineering drawings.
  • Valid 4-wheeler driving license or experience in driving.
  • Proficiency in English, Tamil, and Hindi.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Physical ability to lift and carry materials.

Note: This job requires extensive travel and the ability to work in various environments.
