Job Title: Electrical Technician/Assembler
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Technician/Assembler to join our robotics team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the electrical wiring and assembly of robotic machines, ensuring high-quality standards and adherence to safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
Electrical Wiring:
● Assemble and install electrical wiring for robotic machines according to schematics and technical drawings.
● Connect wires to circuit breakers, terminal blocks, or other components.
● Inspect and test wiring installations, assemblies, and circuits for continuity and proper functioning.
● Perform troubleshooting and repair of electrical issues in robotic systems. Machine Assembly:
● Assemble robotic machines and systems from components and subassemblies.
● Ensure all mechanical and electrical connections are secure and meet company standards.
● Test assembled products to ensure they meet performance specifications and safety standards.
● Collaborate with engineering and design teams to resolve any assembly issues.
Documentation:
● Maintain accurate records of wiring schematics, assembly instructions, and test results.
● Update documentation to reflect changes and improvements in wiring and assembly processes.
● Provide feedback on designs to improve assembly efficiency and quality.
Safety and Compliance:
● Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies during assembly and wiring processes.
● Use protective equipment and tools safely and responsibly.
● Participate in safety training sessions and drills.
Continuous Improvement:
● Suggest improvements to wiring and assembly processes to enhance efficiency and quality.
● Stay updated with industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in electrical wiring and robotic assembly.
● Participate in continuous training and development programs.
Qualifications:
● ITI or Diploma Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
● Proven experience in electrical wiring, assembly, and testing, preferably in a robotics or industrial automation setting.
● Strong understanding of electrical schematics, diagrams, and blueprints.
● Proficiency in using electrical testing equipment and tools.
● Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
● Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
● Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
● Good communication and documentation skills.
