About the Role: We seek a Sales Engineer/Technical Account Manager with 2-4 years of proven experience in handling municipal corporations as clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales, fostering relationships, and providing technical expertise to municipal clients. We want someone who is self driven, has a penchant to establish good relationships with municipal corporation staff and can actually convince people of how our solutions would be a game changer for the water & sewer pipeline management.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute sales strategies to target and acquire municipal corporation clients. Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers within municipal corporations. Provide technical consultation and support to clients during the sales process. Prepare tenders and deliver presentations, proposals, demonstrations tailored to municipal needs. Manage the sales pipeline, from lead generation to contract negotiation and closure. Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and the competitive landscape within the municipal sector.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related technical field. Proven experience in sales engineering with municipal corporations (mandatory). Strong understanding of municipal procurement processes and regulations. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders. Results-oriented mindset with a track record of achieving sales targets.
This position involves travel to meet the clients or attend industry events.
