Job Description: AutoCAD Designer for Steel Structural Work

Position: AutoCAD Designer
Location: Pudukottai, Tuticorin 
Reports To: Lead Engineer/Project Manager

Summary:

We are looking for an experienced AutoCAD Designer to create detailed drawings for steel structures. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of structural engineering, proficiency in AutoCAD, and the ability to collaborate with engineers and team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop detailed steel structure drawings using AutoCAD.
  • Collaborate with engineers to meet project requirements.
  • Maintain and update design documentation.
  • Perform quality checks on drawings.
  • Provide technical support during design and implementation phases.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Associate degree or diploma in Drafting, Civil/Structural Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience: 1-3 years in structural drafting/design, especially steel structures.
  • Skills: Proficient in AutoCAD, detail-oriented, strong communication skills, team player.
