1.0 CARTON PACKAGING

1. Packaging in cartons is carried out by the packers as below
1. Identify the product to be packed as instructed by the Checking and packing in charge
1. Select the appropriate carton box
1. Close the bottom opening of the box with the gum tape
1. Take sufficient quantity of Polythene sheet and spread it inside the carton box. Care should be taken to see that the Polythene sheet covers the five side of the cartons inner surface
1. Arrange the specified numbers of packs uniformly in the carton box
1. Cover the upper side of the material with a Polythene sheet

1. Close the carton with gum tape
1. Strap the carton at least with minimum two straps in both Length wise and width wise or as instructed
Care should be taken while strapping that the packages are sufficiently tight and the ends are secured with metal clips or by heat setting
1. Make the required marking on the outer side of the carton
1. Store all the packed carton one over the other in a row for easy handling of the boxes for final inspection and dispatch
1. Store the packages order wise/item wise
1. Keep the surrounding neat and clean
