We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Powder Coating Operator to join our team. The Powder Coating Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining powder coating equipment to apply coatings to metal surfaces, ensuring high-quality finishes and adherence to specifications.

Responsibilities:

1. Operate Powder Coating Equipment: Set up and operate powder coating equipment including spray guns, booths, ovens, and conveyor systems to apply coatings to metal surfaces.

2. Prepare Surfaces: Clean and prepare metal surfaces for powder coating by removing dirt, grease, and other contaminants, and masking areas as necessary to prevent coating where not desired.

3. Mix Coatings: Prepare powder coating materials by accurately measuring and mixing coatings according to specifications, ensuring proper consistency and color match.

4. Apply Coatings: Apply powder coatings to metal surfaces evenly and efficiently, adjusting application techniques as needed to achieve desired coating thickness and appearance.

5. Monitor Process: Monitor coating process parameters such as temperature, pressure, and conveyor speed to ensure proper curing and adherence of coatings.

6. Inspect Finished Products: Inspect finished products for quality defects such as runs, sags, and uneven coating coverage, and make adjustments as necessary to meet quality standards.

7. Maintain Equipment: Perform routine maintenance tasks on powder coating equipment, including cleaning, troubleshooting, and minor repairs to ensure optimal performance and prevent downtime.

8. Follow Safety Procedures: Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others, including proper handling of chemicals and protective equipment.

9. Document Process Parameters: Record process parameters and inspection results accurately and legibly on production documentation, maintaining traceability and quality records.
