Making scheduled checks on machinery/equipment/pumps/valves/blowers/other parts.
Carrying out scheduled overhauling and replacing parts that have reached the end of their working life.
Responding immediately to machinery breakdowns and fixing faults and arranging for replacement equipment to be installed.
Should use manufacturer’s technical manuals and diagrams to help locate faults and carry out the work, with a range of instruments and tools.
Inspects equipment and makes necessary preventive maintenance adjustments.
Maintain and repair mechanical drives and mechanical transmissions
Perform levelling and alignment of machines and engineering components
Shut down and isolate machines/equipment.
Perform installation and removal of mechanical seals
Perform gland packing.
Repairs and installs plumbing.
