Able to install, repair, and troubleshoot rotating machinery, power relays, control systems, and water flow control systems to keep the waste water plant functioning normally, safely, and efficiently.
Obtain measurements and readings using electrical and mechanical testing instruments, including digital multi meters, meggers, amp meters, ohm meters, and phase rotation meters.
Test and maintain electric motors, variable frequency drives, alarms, and control systems to ensure proper working condition.
Perform a variety of other maintenance tasks, such as electrical preventative maintenance; tag out/lock-out, calibration of electrical & electronic systems and equipment, disconnecting and removing motors, and responding to emergencies. Diagnoses and repairs malfunctions in electrical equipment or control systems such as pumps, motors, controllers, generators, air compressors, valves or other electrical devices.
Perform installation of electrical conduit, equipment, feeders, branch circuits, motors, and lighting.
