Job Description:
We are Looking for a qualified, cost-conscious and Experienced professional for our Solid Tyre Manufacturing Plant to fill the position of Production Supervisor. The Successful candidate has to oversee our production operation and guarantee that manufacturing process remains smooth and efficient by monitoring employees and the workflow. You should be a creative thinker who doesn’t mind sharing his or her ideas and implementing new strategies to benefit the business. Your goal is to ensure the production processes and deliver the targeted Output with maximum quality.
Responsibilities:
Manpower Planning and presence of Employees.
Ensure each station of the manufacturing process is utilized to their maximum efficiency.
Ensure the safe use of equipment and safety policies and procedures (both in-house and regulatory) to decrease the potential for employee injuries on the job.
Check production output according to specifications.
Always maintain WIP inventory level in control.
Identify issues in efficiency and suggest improvements.
Inspect products prior to shipment to ensure accurate labeling and record keeping.
Training THE NEW Operators / Employees on how to safely use machinery and follow procedures.
Maintain a proper ratio of trained and untrained employees.
Ensure all resources and assets are used efficiently and correctly.
Maintain open lines of communication between employees, management and executives.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Polymer and Rubber Technology or Equivalent Related field.
Proven Experience as supervisor in the manufacturing Industry is must.
Experience in using various types of manufacturing machinery and tools.
Ability to create and follow schedules.
Computer Proficiency is Preferred for communicating through Mails and preparing reports.
Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
Problem-solving skills.
Good Communication and interpersonal skills.
Confident decision making and Ability to act quickly.
