Job Title: Embedded Engineer
About the Company: We are an Electric vehicle startup developing a performance electric motorcycle with our proprietary battery pack and motor technology.
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Embedded Engineer to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development and implementation of control systems for Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motors (PMSM), vehicle control systems and Battery Management systems.
Responsibilities:
1. Design and develop control systems for PMSM motors and vehicle control systems.
2. Implement control algorithms using embedded programming languages such as C or C++.
3. Work with the hardware team to integrate control systems with hardware components.
4. Debug and test control systems and resolve any issues that arise.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of control systems into the overall vehicle design.
6. Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in PMSM motor control and vehicle control technologies.
7. Provide technical support to the production team and assist with the deployment of control systems in the field.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
2. 1+ years of experience in embedded systems development, with a focus on PMSM motor control and vehicle control.
3. Strong programming skills in C or C++ and experience with embedded programming tools such as Keil, IAR, or GCC.
4. Knowledge of motor control algorithms and experience with motor control hardware and software.
5. Experience with microcontrollers and microprocessor-based systems.
6. Familiarity with communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, and Ethernet.
7. Knowledge in 8, 16 & 32-bit microcontrollers.
8. Hands on experience in communication protocols like UART, I2C, CAN and SPI.
9. Knowledge in Power Electronics & PCB design
10. Experience in Application Development using RTOS
11. Hands on Experience in driver development
12. Designing SW Architecture based on project requirements and hardware specifications.
13. Skills in Software debugging & Logic Analyzer tools
14. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
15. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
