Able to read Casting & Machining drawing.
Creo Software skills – Modeling, Detailing, Editing Works, Assembly Manufacturing & mold design
Good Knowledge in Pressure Die casting and its mechanism.
Knowledge to do Parting Line Study, Undercut Study, Draft Analysis for the Casting part.
Knowledge about Core & Caving Die Splitting.
Good knowledge in GD & T.
Able to convert the surface model to solid model in Creo ( Patch Work)
Knowledge about Die vs Machine Tonnage calculation, Core Calculation and able to justify the PDC Machine requirements.
Knowledge to do Runner Gate Design with Calculation, Overflow & Venting Design.
Die Cooling Design Knowledge.
Able to prepare Die BOM for all die parts.
Knowledge to do 2D for all die parts using Creo.
